F-16 Fighter Jet Burnt in Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport

A F-16 fighter jet type TS-1643 belongs to Air Force Army (TNI AU) was burnt in the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport after the pilot failed to take off, Thursday (4/16), around 8.20 AM. As for the information, the jet planned to carry out the Fly Pass mission from Army beret on President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo's head at the Cilangkap Army headquarters on Thursday afternoon. It is done with route Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport-Hankam Army Headquarters and back to the airport.
The mission was done along with 3 other F-16 jets, namely F-16 TS-1606/, F-16 TS-1608 and F-16 TS-1610. Reportedly, the jet type F-16 TS-1643 would be used for securing Asia-Africa Summit in Jakarta and Bandung in the upcoming April 19-24.
